JENNIFER LAWRENCE feat JAMES NEWTON – The Hanging Tree

This is from the soundtrack of “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1” where Jennifer Lawrence plays the lead role of Katniss.
When the song started, I thought this was going to an acapella and was thinking of what chords to put in for it. Then, as the song progressed, I noticed the orchestral elements slowly filling in, then I knew what all chords were to be put. Once the song progressed even more, I was confident about the song and the chord progression. The way that Jennifer has sung this song is really beautiful and haunting at the same time. The way that the lyrics are written makes this song even more enjoyable. Excellent production and beautiful rendition is what makes this song a super hit.
