This song is on the soundtrack of the movie “Selma”.
I really like the collaboration and the production. The hook by John Legend is amazing to listen to. The only problem that I could find was that the rhythm was not up to the level that you would expect from a song like this. I felt that it was too calm and sloppy for being the groove provider for a song. The message and the lyrics were powerful, the parts by Common were amazing, but the rhythm killed the song. It needed to be equal to the power of the song and should have had more punch.
