This song is from the album First Kiss(2015).
I loved the vocals in this song. The rhythm was not very impressive in the beginning, it sounded pretty lame. But once the song progressed, I was blown back by the power and the energy of the song. The lyrics were not that great in certain areas, but it was definitely not the worst. The music and the instrumentation is really interesting, I loved that guitar lead in between, it really changed the mood of the song.

[VERSE]
E
I remember waiting for the school bus
B
Jenny Clayton was my first crush
A E
And neither one of us had a clue

E
An old Cheyenne it was my first truck
B
Rusted, rough and kinda beat up
A E
But when she jumped in it felt brand new

[PRE-CHORUS]
C#m B A
And now these days when I drive through a small town
C#m B A
I turn my stereo up and roll my windows down

[CHORUS]
                             E
’Cause it reminds me of my first kiss
E B
And those days that I always miss
                  F#m
Tom Petty on the radio
                    A
Going steady with nowhere to go
                E
No money just time to spend
                       B
An old Chevy and a couple friends
          F#m A
Oh how I wish that I could go back in time
A E
Just to love you again

[INSTRUMENTAL]E

I remember drinking from the same cup

We’d break up just to make up

E
Smokin’ cigarettes on the tailgate

Man it seems like it was yesterday
A E B
When Main Street felt like Park Avenue

[PRE-CHORUS]
C#m B A
And when I’m driving through any ol’ small town

I turn my stereo up and roll my windows down

Going steady with nowhere to go
                E

When forever felt like it would never come
        A
And we never thought we’d turn 21
     C#m Ab
So young we thought this could never end
