This is the first single from Lana del Rey’s second album “Ultraviolence”.
This song is a moody baroque pop slow jam where she talks about the few unknown facts on West Coast. The tempo of the song keeps on changing from slow to mid-tempo along the progression of the song, slowing down more in the parts of the chorus. “West Coast” was world premiered on radio via BBC Radio 1 (UK) in mid-April 2014. The video was leaked on VEVO on May 6th, but was removed minutes after it was accidently released.
