This song is from the album I Cry When I Laugh(2015), released on 21 August 2015.
I enjoyed the production and the energy in this song. The rhythm felt nice, especially the bass and the background pads. The lack of a lead or a solo made the song a bit monotonous, but the rest of the song was amazing. I especially loved the hard, bright piano in the background and the energetic bridge.

[INTRO] Abm Bbm B
[VERSE]
B B C# Ebm
I came here with a broken heart that no one else could see
Ebm F# Abm Bbm B
I drew a smile on my face til they were over me
B B C# Ebm
The wounds heal and tears dry and cracks they don't show
Ebm F# Abm Bbm B
So don't be so hard on yourself, no

[PRE-CHORUS]
Abm Bbm B
Let's go back to simplicity
B C# Ebm
I feel like I've been missing me
Ebm
Was not who I'm supposed to be
F# Abm Bbm B
I felt this darkness over me
B
We all get there eventually
B C# Ebm
I never knew where I belonged
Ebm
But I was right and you were wrong
                           Abm Bbm B
Been telling us to fall in love

[CHORUS]
B Abm
Don't be so hard on yourself, no
Ebm C#
Learn to forgive, learn to let go
B Abm
Everyone trips, everyone falls
     Ebm C#
So don't be so hard on yourself, no
             B Abm
Because I'm just tired of marching on my own
           Ebm C#
Kind of frail, I feel it in my bones
          B Abm
Oh let my heart, my heart turn into stone
      Ebm C#
So don't be so hard on yourself, no

B B C# Ebm
I'm standin' on top of the world, right where I wanna be
Ebm F# Abm Bbm B
So how can this dark cloud be raining over me
B B C# Ebm
But hearts break and hells a place that everyone knows
Ebm F# Abm Bbm B
So don't be so hard on yourself, no

[PRE-CHORUS]

So don't be so hard on yourself, no

Kind of frail, I feel it in my bones
          B Abm
