This song is from the movie “Praise The Lord” and is sung by Yazin Rinu Razak. This song was composed by Shaan Rahman and written by Rafeeq Ahmed. It casts Mamooty and Reenu Mathews as the lead characters.
There are tons of awesome aspects to this song. I love the Arabic scale used in this and the instrumentation of this song. The way the guitar is played is absolutely terrific, the arabic percussion adds to the flavor and ambience of the song.
One thing I didn’t like about this song is the way the song is mixed, the vocals sound terrible in the way it’s mixed. It might be because of the version that I heard, but it put me off, making the urge to listen to this song again very unlikely.
