This song is the lead single the New Zealand duo’s full length album which is to be released under Capitol Records this year.
Let me be honest, I don’t like the chorus of this song. I am very disturbed by it. It’s not due to the lyrics or anything else, it’s because of the way that she sings it and the music of the chorus. In every song, you expect the chorus to be different than the rest of the song, usually with more energy and feel that the rest of the song. But in this case, the notes of the song are going down and down. There is nothing uplifting the chorus to make it a chorus. The chorus has been a complete let down. But the rest of the song seems fine.
