This song is from the album Andrew McMahon In the Wilderness(2014), released on 14 October 2014.
Even thought the production feels really simple, I liked the message that the singer tried to convey. The emotion in his voice was absolutely brilliant, especially during the “I’m the sky” part. I would have liked some strings or violin kinda instruments in the background, that would have made it even better.

[INTRO] F C
[VERSE]
    F C
I lock myself in a hotel room
        F C
Been waiting all night for the walls to move
       F C
I've loved some girls that I barely knew
      F C
I've made some friends, and I've lost some too
F C
Crashed my car, I was 17
     F C
My mother in the seat riding next to me
     F C
The things I've learned from a broken mirror
        F C
How a face can change when a heart knows fear
         Dm
Through all the things my eyes have seen
     F
The best by far is you

[CHORUS]
            C
If I could fly
              Am
Then I would know
            F C
What life looks like from up above and down below
              G
I'd keep you safe
              Am
I'd keep you dry
           F
Don't be afraid Cecilia
F C
I'm the satellite
C
And you're the sky

For all the places I have been
