WoW! I loved every aspect of this song. The lush strings, the beautiful piano and the amazing vocals are what makes this song so beautiful to listen. The energy in his vocals, the sweet reverb and the invisible delay adds a great layer of depth and power that made me fall in love with this song.

[INTRO] Em D G C Em D G C
[VERSE]
Am
Running round,
Em
Chasing hearts,
D G
Chasing bodies,
D
To fix the past
G/B Am Em
I don't know how I reached this place,
D G D
So far from heaven, so far from grace
[PRE-CHORUS]
G/B Am
And I run to give in to the pressure,
Em
'cause I feel like the city's got the better of me,
D G
All this casual love,
D
Isn't what it seems.
[CHORUS]
G/B Am
And I try to imagine something closer,
Em
And somebody who is good for me,
D C
I'm so tired of all this searching,
B C G
Do i, do i, do i, do I go home to nothing?
D Em D
Or stay out for more?
C G
Give in to someone?
D Em D
Or knock down my door?
C Em
Or drown all my shadows,
D Am G/B C
Drown them like before,
C B Em D G C B
Drowning shadows, once more
[VERSE]
Am
The more I drink,
Em
The more I drown,
D G
I found that thinking,
D
I won't get down
G/B Am Em
The more I rise above it all,
D G D
The less I care, about the falls
[PRE-CHORUS]
G/B Am
And I run to give in to the pressure,
Em
'cause I feel like the city's got the better of me,
D G
All this casual love,
D
Isn't what it seems.
[CHORUS]
G/B Am
And I try to imagine something closer,
Em
And somebody who is good for me,
D C
I'm so tired of all this searching,
B C G
Do i, do i, do i, do I go home to nothing?
D Em D
Or stay out for more?
C G
Give in to someone?
D Em D
Or knock down my door?
C Em
Or drown all my shadows,
D Am G/B C
Drown them like before,
C B Em D G C B
Drowning shadows, once more
B Em D G C B
Once more
B Em G7 C B
Once more
C G D Em D
Go home to nothing, or stay out for more?
C G B
Give in to someone, or lock down my door
C Em
Or drown all my shadows,
D Am G/B C
Drown them like before
C B Am Em
Drowning shadows, once more
